I am what you would call an Action Therapist! As humans, we are wired for action. We find purpose and meaning in doing things and making changes in our lives. Athletes are the most action-oriented people, and I aim to help them take the right actions to feel and perform better!

3 Key Areas Athletes Struggle.

Anxiety

Anxiety for athletes shows up in many ways. How they think, what they worry about and how their body feels. Anxiety-inducing factors almost always are thoughts about the future. This can cause disruptions in performance, their health, and other non-sport-related areas.

mental blocks in athletes

Mental Blocks

Mental blocks are most recognized in sports like gymnastics where 70% of athletes will experience them. Other sports may know this as the yips or target panic. The brain will shut down the body's ability to perform a skill that an athlete has successfully done before.

Confidence training

Confidence

Most athletes get stuck on the confidence roller coaster. Where each play, practice, and game decides how they feel about themselves and their ability. This can lead to being anxious feeling burnout, poor self-esteem, and continued performance declines.

My approach to helping athletes feel and play their best!
