My Athletic Career

I was born and raised in Texas and have been a lifelong athlete. I have played and competed in a little bit of everything.

Youth athlete -Soccer, AAU Basketball, Gymnastics, Flag football, Baseball, Travel softball, Flag racing, and Stock Show.

High school Varsity - Volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. I was also in band as a percussionist (mainly the snare drum).

College - I played softball all four years of College. (catcher, SS, CF, Slapper).

After College - I was a fitness competitor and played Women’s Arena Tackle Football.

When I wasn’t competing I worked as a personal trainer for six years and helped coach a softball team to a Little League World Series title.

(Man, do I wish I knew then what I know now about the mental game!)

Cortnee White, her passion

My Passion

My passion for helping athletes today comes from knowing what it feels like to love stepping onto the field, court, or track. Realizing that I had a talent that could take me places. The feeling of importance, community, and pride. The support I had in slumps, in the politics, and in the injuries that tried to push me off course. The frustration of holding onto mistakes, or things coaches said to me and the pressures I placed on myself to be the best.

For so many athletes the love of the game is no longer there. The confidence they used to show up with has turned into doubt and worry. The struggles they face, the politics that happen, and the injuries they endure can leave them feeling like they are failures, disappointments, and, alone.

My passion is helping athletes find their way back to that love or leave the sport they once loved. Providing support, knowledge, and a place to talk about things without any judgment. That their well-being is more important than what the scoreboard says.
