A few areas I can help.

Teen Athletes.

  • Overthinking or getting caught up in their own head.

  • Feeling so nervous and anxious they freeze up or play scared.

  • Anxious in their sport or multiple areas of life (school or social).

  • They practice great and underperform in competition.

  • Struggle with bouncing back from mistakes.

  • Having or had a bad experience with a coach or teammate that is affecting them.

  • Have all the talent but lack the confidence.

  • Experiencing mental blocks on skills or throwing yips.

  • ADHD and trouble managing symptoms in school or sport.

Be on the lookout for:

Signs & Symptoms.

  • Appetite and sleep disturbances.

  • Changes in mood and behaviors.

  • Complaints of pain or muscle aches with no source of injury.

  • Becoming more withdrawn and less interested in their sport/activities.

  • Complaints of chest pain, increased heart rate, or stomach issues.

  • More negative thoughts, self-talk, and/or mindset.

  • Uncharacteristic performance issues.

  • Discussion of leaving/quitting their sport.
